I started raising Flemish Giants almost 10 years ago with a trio of whites..They were very nice rabbits and produced a couple litters until we had a dog attack...At this time I was unaware of rabbit shows. I met a guy down the road a few years later who had Fawns and Sandies, so I bought some from him..He had just started showing and a few months later we took some younger ones to a show in Ionia, MI where the Fawn buck and Fawn doe were best and best opposite of breed...From then on I was hooked on the shows.... I started with Sandies and Fawns and eventually branched out to Light Gray, Steel Gray, and White. I have won numerous "Best of Breed" and "Best Opposite of Breed" and earned many legs on our Flemish. I have also raised many "Grand Champion" rabbits here in our rabbitry. I love to win at the shows, but the best part has got to be the new friends and the "Friendly" and "Helpfull" nature of the Flemish Giant breeders.. I am a member of the National Federation of Flemish Giant Rabbit Breeders, Michigan Flemish Giant Rabbit Breeders, Michigan State Rabbit Breeders, Michigan Bird and Game Breeders Association, MI Meat Rabbit Association, and The Lakeshore Rabbit Breeders. Many of our rabbits have gone to various other states to different breeders including Texas, Iowa, Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Missouri, Wisconsin, North Carolina, and others. I try to produce the best rabbits that I possibly can, and especially enjoy it when I sell one and hear that it has won and is doing good. After building cages of my own and seeing that area cage dealers were not making cages suitable for Flemish Giants, I started making cages and supplies. I make them with quality and comfort in mind and strive to make the very best and make them at a good price.. All of our cages are "MADE IN THE USA"
